Columbus, Ohio

Ohio State University

October 23 - 25, 2026

Each year, delegates draft the National Youth Statement (NYS) throughout the LCOY process. The NYS is a structured list of policy demands and calls to action, which the youth organizers across the US use in their advocacy. See the 2025 NYS here.

This year, we're preparing the NYS ahead of the conference so that our time together in Columbus can be spent on substantive, in-person discussions. Delegates are highly encouraged to join the pre-drafting process:

  • Intro Call: September 10th, 8:00–9:00pm ET

  • Drafting Call #1: September 17th, 8:00–9:30pm ET

  • Drafting Call #2: October 1st, 8:00–9:30pm ET

  • Drafting Call #3: October 8th, 8:00–9:30pm ET
